We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use personal information for targeted advertising based on activity across unrelated websites or services.

If these practices change, we will update this Privacy Policy and implement any legally required notices or opt-out mechanisms before beginning the new activity.

7. Project Information and Confidentiality

We recognize that architectural plans, specifications, pricing information, and bid materials may be commercially sensitive.

We use project information for:

  • Reviewing and pricing requested services;
  • Preparing the requested deliverables;
  • Communicating with the client;
  • Maintaining appropriate business records;
  • Resolving disputes;
  • Complying with legal obligations; and

We do not publish a client’s project documents or use an identifiable project as a public case study without permission.

This Privacy Policy does not replace a nondisclosure agreement or confidentiality clause contained in a proposal or service agreement. Where a separate written agreement provides stronger confidentiality protections, that agreement will control.

8. Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

Retention may depend on:

  • Whether a quote request becomes an active project;
  • The duration of the client relationship;
  • The nature and value of the project;
  • Contractual requirements;
  • Client instructions;
  • Accounting, tax, and insurance requirements;
  • Applicable limitation periods;
  • The need to resolve disputes or defend legal claims; and
  • Security, fraud-prevention, and backup requirements.

Quote inquiries that do not become active projects may be retained for a reasonable follow-up and recordkeeping period.

Project documents, estimates, communications, and deliverables may be retained after project completion when reasonably necessary for contractual, professional, accounting, insurance, or legal purposes.

Analytics information is retained according to the retention settings configured in our Google Analytics account. Aggregated reports may remain available after user-level or event-level information expires.

Information contained in backups may remain until those backups are overwritten or securely deleted through the ordinary backup cycle.

9. Information Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal and project information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

These measures may include:

  • Access restrictions;
  • Authentication controls;
  • Limited permissions;
  • Vendor security features;
  • Secure transmission where supported; and
  • Business procedures appropriate to the information involved.

No website, email system, file-storage system, payment system, or Internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You are responsible for ensuring that you are authorized to submit project information and for using appropriate care when transmitting confidential documents.

10. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on your location and the law applicable to TS Estimating, you may have the right to:

  • Request access to personal information we maintain about you;
  • Request correction of inaccurate information;
  • Request deletion of certain information;
  • Obtain a portable copy of certain information;
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
  • Opt out of certain sales, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling;
  • Limit certain uses of sensitive personal information;

These rights are subject to legal limitations and may not apply to all information or all individuals.

We may retain information that is reasonably necessary to:

  • Maintain business records;
  • Protect security and prevent fraud;

Submitting a privacy request

Send requests to:

contact@tsestimating.com

Use the subject line “Privacy Request” and include:

  • Your name;
  • Your email address;
  • Your state, province, or country;
  • Your relationship with TS Estimating; and
  • A clear description of your request.

We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and protect information from unauthorized disclosure.

An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law. We may require proof of the agent’s authority and may verify your identity directly.

11. United States State Privacy Notices

Certain U.S. state privacy laws apply only when a business meets specified revenue, data-volume, or business-practice thresholds.

To the extent an applicable state privacy law covers TS Estimating and your information, we will process verified privacy requests and provide the rights required by that law.

During the preceding 12 months, we may have collected and disclosed for business purposes the categories described in Sections 1 and 5 of this Privacy Policy.

We have not sold personal information for monetary consideration or knowingly sold or shared personal information belonging to individuals under 16.

Because we do not currently sell personal information or process it for targeted advertising, a sale or targeted-advertising opt-out request ordinarily will not change our current practices.

12. Canadian Residents

TS Estimating provides services to clients in Canada. Where Canadian federal or provincial privacy law applies, we process personal information for identified and reasonable business purposes.

Canadian residents may request access to or correction of their personal information and may raise questions or complaints about our handling of personal information.

Consent may be withdrawn where legally permitted, subject to reasonable notice and any contractual, legal, recordkeeping, or service-related limitations. Withdrawing consent may prevent us from providing services that require the relevant information.

Information submitted from Canada may be processed and stored in the United States or in another country where our service providers operate. It may therefore be accessible to courts, law-enforcement authorities, or government agencies under the laws of that jurisdiction.

13. Do Not Track and Universal Opt-Out Signals

Some browsers transmit “Do Not Track” signals. There is no consistently adopted standard for responding to traditional Do Not Track signals, and our website may not respond to them.

Where an applicable law requires recognition of a legally valid universal opt-out signal, we will process the signal for activities covered by that law.

Because we do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising, such a signal may not materially change the operation of the website.

14. Children’s Privacy

Our website and services are intended for contractors, companies, and construction professionals. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13.

If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, contact us so that we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.

15. Third-Party Websites and Payment Pages

Our website may link to external websites, Google Forms, payment pages, or other third-party services.

Those services operate under their own privacy policies, cookie policies, and terms. We are not responsible for the privacy or security practices of an external service.

We encourage you to review the provider’s policies before submitting information.

16. International Processing

TS Estimating is based in Pennsylvania, United States.

If you submit information from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate. Privacy and data-protection laws in those countries may differ from the laws where you live.

17. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, providers, technologies, or legal obligations change.

The revised policy will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes will not be applied retroactively where additional notice or consent is required by law.
